Can exercise help me fall pregnant?

Feeling healthy, stress-free and relaxed will only help the chance of you and your partner falling pregnant. Exercise, even low-impact activities such as walking, biking, dancing or swimming, is a great way to relieve stress, improve lung capacity and make your body stronger. 

Hazards to pregnancy

If you are using a long-acting injectable contraceptive, once the injection is stopped, it may take as long as 9 months for you to fall pregnant. There is usually no delay in falling pregnant after stopping the oral contraceptive tablets or after having an intra-uterine device removed.

What changes to my body can I expect after giving birth?

After the birth your body undergoes rapid physical and hormonal changes. Your caregivers will carefully check on your temperature, pulse, respiratory rate and blood pressure during the first hours and days after the birth.

How much solid foods should I give my baby?

Start with small amounts of gentle, smooth foods like Nestlé® Nestum® or Nestlé® Cerelac® infant cereals. This is a time for your baby to adapt to semi-solid foods, so begin with a few teaspoons and gradually increase the amount as they get more comfortable. Always consult with your healthcare provider for personalised advice and guidance.

How can I tell if my baby is ready for solid foods?

round six months of age, babies begin to transition from an all-liquid diet to include solid foods. Signs that your baby may be ready include showing interest in your food.

How often can I feed my baby solids?

You can start with one meal a day and depending on your baby’s appetite and growth needs, gradually increase to 2-3 meals as your baby becomes more accustomed to solids. Keep in mind that breastmilk or infant formula should remain in your child’s diet at this stage. Always adjust based on your baby’s individual needs.

When can my baby start enjoying NESTLÉ ® NESTUM ® and NESTLÉ ® CERELAC ® ?

Around 6 months is a great time to start introducing solid foods such as Nestum® and Cerelac®, but remember, every baby is unique, so always consult your healthcare provider before making changes to your baby’s diet.

Can I incorporate NESTLÉ ® Infant Cereals into meals for my older child who is already eating solids?

Absolutely! While formulated for babies, both Cerelac® and Nestum® can be added to meals for older children. Nestum® is popular as a breakfast cereal, and both can be added to yogurt or smoothies or used in baking. Adjust amounts based on age and dietary needs. Check the packaging for serving suggestions.
